“We hired Big Daddy for our DJ and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I called him to inquire about services he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and wanting to hear about me and my fiance (now husband!) and our dream for music at our wedding (and even just our dreams in general!). After booking, if I had any questions or concerns he would respond to me within literally seconds (!!) with ideas and suggestions. He made sure to listen and incorporate all my requests and even if I couldn’t think of an idea for a certain song, I trusted his judgement and he nailed it! My guests LOVED him!! “We had Paul Lacano from James Daniel Entertainment for our DJ at our Waveny House Wedding in New Canaan. First I must say, Paul knows Waveny like no other, he knows the set up, where to have things and just has the system down in that venue! He was also very professional through the whole process.

As for the music, we got so many compliments on the music selection and volume... it worked for both the old and the young. He kept the dinner and cocktail tunes classy and in step with what the older crowd would want and then switched to the more modern music for dancing after dinner to please the younger crowd. My uncle and the priest complimented us on the choice of using some of the older songs for “us older people”, and both my uncle and one of my father's business partners complimented us on how the volume was just right - with one of them indicating that they have a friend that will bring ear plugs to receptions because it can get that bad but how ours was just right, and then I also had a bunch of my friends come up to me and say what a hoot it was to have some of those old hits from our middle school days.

My husband and I were very concerned about picking the right DJ for our wedding as everyone going had very different tastes in music, however, Sean knew exactly what to play and seemed to make everyone happy. “My wife and I hired James Daniel Entertainment to provide DJ and Lighting Services for our wedding reception on June 27 at the Darien Community Association. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with for the entire process. The light crew set everything up a day in advance and returned at the end of the night to collect everything with no damage to the venue. We had 107 guests at our reception and Jimmy did a great job getting them all up and dancing after dinner. The online program for uploading our requests prior to the event was very easy and Jimmy even was even able to play an obscure track off of someone's phone through his system the night of the party.”
